Description:

  • Liaise with Senior Management to maintain and enhance appropriate and effective systems in respect of Occupational Safety & Health (OHS)
  • Provide guidance and direction for planning, implementation and operation of Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Review and ensure the SMS suitability, adequacy and effectiveness • Conduct, promote and improve Operational and Occupational Safety and Risk Management Programs through the implementation of effective and appropriate safety initiatives & strategies
  • Monitor daily activities in compliance with the Hong Kong, and other international legislations, with respect to OHS
  • Conduct accident/incident investigation and propose remedial action • Prepare safety-related documentation
  • Provide safety advice and internal training

Responsibilities:

  • Higher Diploma holder or above in construction-related disciplines or safety-related disciplines
  • Preferably a Registered Safety Officer under F&IU (Safety Officer & Safety Supervisor) Regulations
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in site safety inspection, auditing, training and supervision in building construction industry
  • Familiar with ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
  • Hands-on experience in handling site accidents and prosecution cases
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Initiative, communicative and good problem-solving skills
  • Experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Safety Officer
